Sandra Aldridge

Sandra's background

Sandra began her career working as an HR Manager in the NHS, where she led a number of restructuring and change management projects.  This fuelled her interest in consulting and after completing her Masters Degree in Occupational Psychology, she joined the management consulting division of one of the major professional service firms.  She later joined a niche consultancy where she specialised in change management, leadership development and assessment.

In 2000 Sandra joined PA Consulting as Global Head of Talent Development.  This role gave her exposure to the complexities of working cross culturally in a matrix environment.  Whilst at PA Consulting, she was responsible for defining and implementing a new global talent development strategy and process across the consultancy.  Her primary focus was on developing the top 500 senior consultants and partners in the firm.

  • Designing and delivering development programmes for a major professional services company.
  • Working on top-team development assignments with Local Authorities, which focused on, improving the effectiveness of the senior member and officer teams; Coaching senior officers in a London Local Authority.
  • Delivering core management skills programmes for a global investment management company.

Sandra has extensive experience of assessing board level teams; both for development and for suitability to lead an organisation through a substantive period of change.
